Dan Erxleben

Coach Erxleben, a Bowie High School alum from PG County, excelled in varsity lacrosse, football, indoor/outdoor track, and cross country during his four-year tenure. Continuing his lacrosse journey, he played for three years on the club lacrosse team at Towson University. Settling in Howard County in 2006, he delved into coaching in the Boys Junior division of the HCLax program. After four years, Coach Erxleben assumed the role of head coach for Hammond High School's JV boys lacrosse team, dedicating seven years to both the JV and varsity programs.

With the introduction of lacrosse to his eldest daughter, Coach Erxleben transitioned to coaching the women's game, marking his return to the HCLax program for three seasons. Residing in Marriottsville, MD, alongside his wife, Lauren, and three daughters, Coach Erxleben not only contributes to the lacrosse community but also works as a Sr. DevOps engineer for a CyberSecurity startup. Recently, he retired his cleats after an impressive 14-year stint playing in Baltimore area open and masters leagues.
